Areas we service in Melbourne's east
We mostly clean homes in Boroondara, Whitehorse and Manningham.
The houses here range from Federation homes and Californian bungalows to post-war brick and new rebuilds with big sheets of glass.
Old leadlight needs a light hand, because the lead softens with age. On the walk-around before we start, we go over any windows that need extra care with you. If your home has period glass, our period home window cleaning page explains how we clean it.
Boroondara
A lot of our work is here, in Canterbury, Camberwell, Kew and Balwyn. Many homes are Federation or Edwardian, with leadlight and timber sash windows that need a lighter touch than modern glass. Closer to Hawthorn there are more Victorian terraces.
Whitehorse
We clean a lot of homes around Blackburn and Mitcham. Most are post-war brick veneer or 1970s family homes on leafy blocks, where big trees drop leaves and debris on the sills and glass. Around Box Hill there are more new townhouses and apartments.
Manningham
Homes in Doncaster and Templestowe tend to be larger, often split level, with a lot of glass and some of it up high. We clean most windows up to three storeys from the ground with a water-fed pole. Further out, Warrandyte and Park Orchards sit under heavy tree cover, so more leaves and dust land on the glass.
